Initial consultation
The initial consultation may last up to 45 minutes.
Please note the following:
· We request that you complete an initial information form before the meeting.
· We will take instructions regarding the nature of the issues which require legal advice and assistance.
· Give information and assistance including, so far as possible, timescales, likely costs and other relevant information.
· Confirm what further steps we should take if any and give you the opportunity to reflect upon our information us as you wish. There is no obligation to give any further instructions whatsoever.
· It is unlikely we will be able to resolve the issues at the initial consultation, but we will give us much assistance as possible.
· We do not confirm the information in writing following the initial consultation unless you instruct us to represent you when we would need to open a file on your behalf, take your identity evidence and send you an advice letter and terms of business letter etc.
· We would recommend that you bring any correspondence with you that you have received and/or court papers or other relevant documentation.
· We would also recommend that you bring your passport/driving license and/or evidence of your address within the last three months such as utility bills, bank statements etc. etc., in case you wish to instruct us.
